My name is David, I was Linda's husband for 47yrs. I lost my sweetheart on Nov. 26 2017, she passed peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with small cell lung cancer. Hi to all,after graduation I went to beauty school got my license in 1968 worked at The Hair Place for 2 years. I was engaged for 2 years then I met the man of my dreams, broke off my engagement and married Dave. He was a Navy instructor so we moved to Key West to teach math and electronics at the Fleet Sonar School at the Key West Naval station. Had my first daughter (Hilery age 35) in Key West, then after 3 years we got transferred to San Diego for 9 months at ASW school. Then moved back to Vallejo for 3 years where he worked at Mare Island as a pipefitter, Had my second daughter at Kaiser Permente (Katee who is 29) so I've got daughters from each coast. My youngest had two boys Ryker and Greysen, I'd never believed I would live long enough to be a Meema, Grand kids are a way of getting even with our children. My husband had a motorcycle and he finally sold it. He just retired last year and we are loving it. I did get my Michigan Cosmetology license for Michigan, Just had to get my hours from California and send them to Lansing and they sent me a Michigan license,and I work on Mondays only. Michigan only requires 1400 hours and I had 1700 in California, no test or anything. I do keep both active never know I maybe in California some day, I highly think I would ever come back. I really love Michigan except for the snow, we get all four seasons here, My husband grew up just up the road graduated from Allegan High School in 1964, both my daughters graduated from Allegan also.
